Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour; Day 4x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years in specialty required License: Active state or compact license required Certifications: AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, NIH required Must-Have: Recent telemetry experience Ability to float within scope of practice Willingness to work every other weekend Description: The RN will manage MS and telemetry patients along with observation cases. The patient-to-RN ratio will be 1:6 or 1:7. Candidates must possess AHA BLS and AHA ACLS certifications, along with NIHSS. A valid state or compact nursing license is required. Floats may be required within the scope of practice. The schedule will not accommodate blocked scheduling. All candidates must comply with mandated health regulations. Travelers must be willing to accept an 84-hour schedule over a two-week pay period. RNs must have the capability to work with varying patient admissions and discharges. Experience in managing cardiac telemetry and related procedures is essential. This role involves direct patient care for adults and geriatric populations. Expected duties include administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and supporting recovery processes. Effective communication with interdisciplinary teams and adherence to safety protocols are required. Candidates must possess strong assessment and clinical skills in healthcare delivery. RNs will be expected to uphold high standards of care and provide patient education as necessary.
