Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour / Night 4x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 Years of Recent MS/Tele or Tele Experience Required License: Kentucky or Compact License Required Certifications: AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, NIHSS Required Must-Have: - Recent MS/Tele Experience - Float Required Within Scope of Practice - Every Other Weekend Required Description: The Registered Nurse will provide care for short stay MS/Tele and observation patients. The RN-to-Patient ratio will be 1:6 or 1:7. Must possess AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and NIHSS certifications. Candidates will be required to float within their scope of practice. Block scheduling cannot be accommodated. All facilities operate on a schedule of 36/48 for the two-week pay period, unless otherwise noted. Patient ratios may fluctuate based on census and staff availability. Travelers must reside 75 miles from the facility to be considered. Assignment confirmation is required within 24 hours of accepting the offer. A valid driver's license is required for submission packets. Candidates should have access to and experience with charting systems. Two references are required, one from a charge nurse or higher, and one from a supervisor. Both references should be completed within the last year. All certifications must be submitted with the application. Travelers must be willing to accept an 84-hour schedule over a two-week period. Candidates may only apply for one position at a time.
