Travel Nurse RN - Telemetry - $2,170 per week in Milwaukee, WI

Job Title: RN Tele Profession: Nursing Specialty: RN Medical Center Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12hr Night Shift Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum of 2 years of RN Med/Surg experience License: Required Certifications: BLS, NIHSS required; ACLS preferred Must-Have: General Med/Surg skillset; experience with tracheostomies, chest tubes, cardiac rhythm strip interpretation, Lasix gtts, insulin gtts, heparin gtts, and wound vacs Description: This position involves providing nursing care to all Med/Surg patient types. The average patient-to-nurse ratio is up to 6 patients. Support within the department includes CNA/Tech, RN, Rapid Response Team, and Phlebotomy. Telemetry monitoring is provided centrally with telemetry technicians. The technology and equipment used include EMR, IV Pumps, and Med Dispensing systems. Floating will occur to any Med/Surg unit with assignments given by the House Supervisor. Scheduling includes a weekend rotation every other week. There is no call requirement. Holidays will be worked every other major holiday. Travelers may be approved up to 7 days for time off if they are willing to extend their contract. Shift times are from 1900 to 0700. The schedule cycle is 6 weeks. Scrub colors permitted are any solid color without logos.
