This position involves providing specialized care for telemetry patients with primary or secondary cardiac diagnoses, primary stroke/TIA, and stable cardiac catheterization patients. The role requires remote telemetry monitoring, adherence to clinical protocols, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams within the healthcare provider setting.
Job Details
Position: RN (Registered Nurse) with valid MD or Compact State license, ACLS, BLS, NIHSS certifications, and a minimum of 2 years of experience.
Schedule: 3 days per week, 12-hour days from 07:00 to 19:30, minimum of 36 hours per week.
Responsibilities include managing telemetry patients, interpreting dysrhythmias, administering cardiac drips (non-titratable), and ensuring patient safety through proper monitoring and medication protocols.
Certifications necessary for compliance: CPI, BLS, ACLS, NIHSS.
Special Equipment and Procedures: Use of Zebra portable phones, Alaris IV pumps, Coviden Feeding Pump, remote telemetry via Hicuity System.
Additional responsibilities include floating within scope as needed and working required weekends and holidays as scheduled.
Onboarding requires completion of compliance documentation within 5 days prior to start.
