Job Summary: Telemetry Nurse - Lewes, DE. This acute care unit is seeking a dedicated telemetry nurse for night shifts. The role involves caring for patients with varying acuity levels, requiring cardiac drip experience and the ability to work independently on a 12-hour schedule. The position provides an excellent opportunity for experienced nurses to contribute to patient care in a dynamic environment.
Job Details:
Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications: Valid licensure, BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale); minimum of 2 years of experience in a related specialty such as PCU (Progressive Care Unit), TELE (Telemetry), or critical care with cardiac drip experience
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with cardiac drips and higher acuity patient care
Float: Float rotation may be required as needed to other units based on staffing and patient acuity
Additional Information: The unit handles a diverse patient population with acuity that varies from 1:4 to 1:6 patient-to-nurse ratios depending on patient needs. Candidates should be flexible and comfortable with EPIC charting system. The role may include weekend shifts on an every-other-weekend basis and holiday requirements during peak periods (MaySeptember and NovemberJanuary).
