Job Summary

United Healthcare Staffing is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse - Telemetry for a 13-week contract assignment in Oxnard, California.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to telemetry patients.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and changes in patient condition.
• Assess patients and develop individualized nursing care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
• Recognize and respond promptly to changes in patient status.
• Monitor and interpret telemetry readings as appropriate.
• Collaborate with physicians and other members of the healthcare team.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and care.
• Follow infection control, patient safety, and hospital policies.
• Provide compassionate and professional patient care throughout the assignment.

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Minimum 2 years of recent Telemetry nursing experience.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills.
• Telemetry and cardiac monitoring experience.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Current BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification required 
• NIHSS Certificate requiered 
• Previous travel or contract nursing experience is a plus.
