The Observation unit operates in a very fast-paced environment that handles 20 to 27 patients per day. The average length of stay for patients in this unit is 27 hours. Provider coverage is available 24/7. Care is provided for a diverse adult population of both emergency observation and admitted boarding patients. Patients in this unit will range from short stays to full admissions.
