Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year in telemetry nursing with experience in ventilated patients and tracheostomy management required. License: Valid compact license required. Certifications: ACLS, BCLS, NIHSS. Must-Have: Experience with ventilated patients and tracheostomy management is mandatory. Description: Confirmed clinician needs to have experience with ventilated patients and tracheostomy management. No candidates without these required skills will be considered. Ratios are 1:4. First-timers accepted. Weekend work is required every other weekend. Will require floating to medical surgical units as needed. Inflexibility regarding scheduling may lead to termination of the contract. Candidates may be expected to float between sister facilities. References are required covering 1 year during the compliance process and prior to start. Travelers' refusal to float may result in the forfeiture of guaranteed hours. Must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays. Special equipment includes safe patient handling and glucometers. Providers will use required communication devices supplied by the client.
