Located in Mesilla Valley of Southern NM Joint Commission Accredited Chest Pain Center with Primary PCI Certified Primary Stroke Center Voted Best Hospital by both Mesilla Valley Readers' Choice awards and Mesilla Valley Reader's Choice Awards 199 Beds Las Cruces, NM Year around sunshine Hatch Chile Capital 250 miles of scenic hiking and biking trails White Sands National Park Organ Mountains- Desert Peaks Prehistoric Trackways Outdoor Recreation- ATV, biking, hiking, hunting, horseback riding Position Summary: • Monitors hospital-wide quality. • Conducts daily and post discharge reviews of potential Harms/HACs. • Conducts mortality reviews. • Site administrator for VPS, Comet and Quality Net. • Fiscally responsible for accurate representation of medical severity of illness. Impacts Value Based Purchasing. • Data collection and submission to CMS, Joint Commission and Leapfrog. • Analyze data to recognize areas in programs for process improvement. • Exemplifies and is committed to the mission and values of the organization. • Adheres to the Code of Conduct and Service Excellence expectations of the organization. • Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.

Required Qualifications
Registered Nurse, Telemetry
SSN Required
DOB Required

• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) is required. Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) is required.
• Current license as an RN in New Mexico or compact license required.
• Associate’s degree is required.

Preferred Qualifications
• Trauma Nurse Core Curriculum (TNCC) is preferred.
• Experience in an acute care facility preferred.
