Travel Nurse RN - Telemetry - $2,236 per week in Alton, IL

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 12 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year in telemetry nursing. License: Must hold an active state nursing license. Certifications: ACLS, BCLS, NIHSS required. Must-Have: Experience in cardiac telemetry and interpretation of dysrhythmias. Description: This position is for an Intermediate Care Unit. The nurse will be responsible for monitoring adult patients requiring cardiac observation. Care will include pre and post cardiac catheterization patients, pacemaker patients, and patients with chest pain or shortness of breath. Nurses will manage patients post-CVA and after ICU transfers. There is a daily census of approximately 26 patients with a ratio of 1:5-6. Weekend shifts will be required every other week. The nurse will be expected to float within the service line as needed. All travelers will follow the established floating guidelines. No local candidates will be accepted within a 75-mile radius. Candidates must comply with all requirements prior to assignment start dates.
