Job Summary Telemetry Nurse, Telemetry, Location: Not Specified. This role involves performing independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in accordance with accepted standards as defined by the state Board of Nursing. The position requires assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care, along with providing health teaching, counseling, and therapy to support patient well-being.
Job Details
Schedule: Nights (7:00 PM 7:30 AM), 36 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: RN License (Single State or Compact RN License), BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), NIHSS, 1+ years of experience in telemetry or higher, EKG competency and rhythm interpretation, ASN (graduation from an accredited School of Nursing); Bachelor's degree of Nursing preferred.
Responsibilities include assessing patient health status, executing medical and nursing duties, collaborating in care planning, and documenting in compliance with hospital and regulatory guidelines.
The unit is a 32-bed telemetry ward with an average of 3-5 patients per shift depending on acuity, utilizing Epic documentation and UKG Pro/Kronos for scheduling.
Willingness to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications based on business need.
