Travel Nurse RN - Telemetry - $2,257 per week in Claremont, NH

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: - 3+ years of experience in Medical/Surgical, Telemetry, and Progressive Care Unit - Experience in cardiac monitoring is required - Previous travel experience is highly preferred - Rural/small facility experience is highly preferred License: - New Hampshire RN license or Compact Certifications: - Active American Heart Association BLS - Active American Heart Association ACLS Must-Have: - Must be comfortable working in Medical, Telemetry, and Progressive Care Unit settings - Must work independently and be able to hit the ground running - Must have own vehicle for this assignment Description: This position requires working in a Medical, Telemetry, and Progressive Care Unit. Travelers must be comfortable with each specialty. Candidates should have experience in a medical/surgical setting with cardiac monitoring. Ability to work independently is essential. This is for a very small unit/facility; therefore, rural experience is preferred. The patient population includes newborns to geriatrics. The RN/patient ratio is typically 5:1, varying with acuity levels. Higher acuity Progressive Care patients will have a ratio of 3:1 or 4:1. Time-off requests must be noted upfront; requests after submission will not be approved. Travelers may not take all holidays off. Mandatory work is required during specific holiday periods. All scheduling requests must be made at the time of submission. Travelers must include any requests for time off prior to submission. A supervisory signed reference from within the past two years of employment is required.
