**Exciting Opportunity for Travel RN in Telemetry!** **Job Description:** - Start Date: 12/14 - Location: Independence, Missouri - Unit: Telemetry - Main Hospital - Number of Beds: 36 - Patient Ratios: - 1:3 AM - 1:4 PM - 1:4 AM - 1:5 PM (with patient care techs) **Unit Staff Features:** - Focus on total RN-based care, typically no techs - Unit secretaries available from 7 AM to 7 PM **Equipment You'll Use:** - BiPAP - Heated High-Flow Nasal Cannulas - Alaris IV pumps - Kangaroo Feeding Pumps **Documentation System:** - Meditech **Scheduling Requirements:** - FT Staff: 36 hours/week with every 3rd weekend rotation - PT Staff: 48 hours/week with every 3rd weekend rotation - PRN Staff (1): 3 shifts in a 4-week period with 1 weekend shift requirement - PRN Staff (2): 6 shifts in a 4-week period with 3 weekend shift requirements - Rotating holiday schedule **Floating Policy:** - PRN floats 1 time per week - FT/PT staff float in a rotation based on dates - Bonus shifts always float first **Patient Experience Requirements:** - Bedside shift report - Hourly rounding - Daily leadership rounds **Hospital Certifications:** - Level 2 trauma center - Stroke Accreditation - STEMI Accreditation - Certified Bariatric Center **Candidate Requirements:** - REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS: BLS, ACLS - Advanced assessment and critical thinking skills - Management of vasoactive drips **Typical Procedures:** - Central Line or PICC line placement **Ideal Candidate:** - Positive attitude - Desire to work as a member of a team **Floating Areas:** - MedSurg Units **Dress Code:** - Charcoal grey scrub tops with charcoal grey or black scrub bottoms - Black or charcoal grey jackets with option for unit-specific jackets **Unit Features:** - Designated Education Unit - New cardiac monitors to visualize cardiac rhythm in each room **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
