Job Summary Telemetry (TELE) Registered Nurse (RN) - Location: Not specified. This role involves performing independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in accordance with accepted practice standards. The nurse assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care, providing supportive and restorative therapy directly to patients or through consultation with others.
Job Details
Schedule: Rotating shifts, 12 hours per shift, 36 hours per week, beginning 10/12/2026 and ending 01/09/2027.
Required Qualifications: ASN (Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing), current RN license in the state of practice, BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and NIHSS certification.
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree of Nursing and certification appropriate for the unit or service are preferred.
Responsibilities include conducting health data assessments, health teaching and counseling, executing delegated medical functions, monitoring therapy and treatment plans, and documenting in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines.
Clinical experience in telemetry nursing, including the management of patients with insulin drips, sepsis, and other acutely ill patients, is preferred.
May be required to float to other telemetry or surgical units as needed.
May be required to be placed on-call during scheduled shifts.
