Job Details

• Position: Travel Telemetry Registered Nurse (Tele RN)
• Setting: Acute care telemetry / PCU environment
• Location: Martinsburg, WV 25401
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: 7/30/2026
• Shift: 12-hour nights, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Shifts Per Week: 3 shifts per week
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,020 - $2,130
• Scheduling: Rotating weekends and holidays; block scheduling may be available
• Charting System: EPIC
• Patient Ratio: Approximately 1:5 on days and nights
• First-Time Travelers: Welcome

Job Requirements

• Active RN license
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Strong rhythm interpretation and telemetry monitoring skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented clinical setting
• Comfort working rotating weekends and holidays as needed
• Experience with EPIC preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care for telemetry patients with a wide range of cardiac and medical needs
• Monitor cardiac rhythms, assess patient status, and document strip interpretation per unit protocol
• Administer medications and manage set-rate drips within scope and protocol
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapy, pharmacy, and the interdisciplinary care team to support excellent outcomes
• Care for patients with conditions such as chest pain, elevated troponins, NSTEMI/STEMI recovery, post-cath care, and other telemetry-related diagnoses
• Support patient education, safety, and individualized care planning
• Float occasionally as needed within similar acuity areas
