The nurse will be responsible for managing a patient ratio of 1:5-6. A minimum of 2 years of telemetry nursing experience is required. Candidates who have not worked as travelers before are welcome to apply. Every other weekend availability is expected, with a minimum of 6 weekend shifts in a 6-week schedule. The position requires certifications in ACLS and BLS. On-call duty is not required. The clinician will float within the scope to meet facility needs across inpatient units. Experience with cardiac drips is essential, and the nurse should be proficient in managing sheath pulls and central lines. The patient population will primarily consist of adults with cardiac conditions. Interdisciplinary support services such as Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, and Social Services are available. Daily census on the unit will be approximately 30 patients. The contract length is firm, and all time off requests must be finalized at the time of submission. Compliance requirements must be met prior to the start date.
