Travel Nurse RN - Telemetry - $2,282 per week in Saint Peters, MO

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years of telemetry experience required. Experience with stroke care and post-cardiac catheterization patients is necessary. Step-down or progressive care unit experience preferred. License: Active nursing license required. Certifications: ACLS BLS NIHSS Must-Have: Telemetry background is essential. EPIC charting experience is required. Ability to float between facilities as needed. Every other weekend work is required. Description: We are seeking a Registered Nurse for a Telemetry position. The nurse will care for adult and geriatric patients, including those undergoing total joint replacements, neuro spine procedures, general surgery, and diabetic medical care. Responsibilities include monitoring cardiac telemetry and managing post-cardiac catheterization care. The nurse will provide care for stroke patients and must be skilled in managing dysrhythmias. A patient ratio of 1:4 to 1:6 will be maintained depending on daily census. The role requires administration of blood products and management of central lines, chest tubes, and feeding tubes. Travelers will float within the service line as needed. All compliance requirements must be met prior to the start of the assignment. Candidates should possess strong communication and team collaboration skills.
