Experience: 3+ years in PCU, Med/Surg, Telemetry required; experience in a Medical/Surgical setting with cardiac monitoring required; previous travel experience preferred; rural or small facility experience preferred.
License: New Hampshire RN license or Compact required
Certifications: Active American Heart Association BLS; Active American Heart Association ACLS
Must-Have: Must be comfortable with Medical/Surgical, Telemetry, and Progressive Care Unit specialties; basic dysrhythmia test required; must have own vehicle; must reside outside a specified radius from the facility.
Description:
This position requires expertise in Medical/Surgical, Telemetry, and Progressive Care Unit nursing.
Travelers must be comfortable with each specialty.
Experience in a Medical/Surgical setting with cardiac monitoring is required.
Candidates must be able to work independently and hit the ground running.
The unit is small, and rural experience is preferred.
The RN to patient ratio is 5:1, depending on acuity, with higher acuity PCU patients being 3:1 or 4:1.
Requested time off during the course of the assignment must be noted upon submission.
No more than 5 days of requested time off will be accepted.
All scheduling requests must be made at the time of submission; requests after an offer may lead to rescinded offers.
Profile documentation must be current and include skills checklists relevant to Medical Surgical, Telemetry, and Progressive Care Unit nursing.
A supervisory signed reference from within the past two years is required.
This role requires flexibility to work every other weekend and holidays as needed.
