Job Summary
Join a dedicated patient care team as a Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) in Nashua, New Hampshire. This role is crucial for delivering high-quality direct and indirect patient care within a dynamic healthcare environment, primarily focusing on adult patients across Medical-Surgical, Telemetry Cardiac, and Progressive Care Units (PCU).
The successful candidate will utilize the nursing process to conduct comprehensive patient assessments upon admission, including obtaining detailed medical histories, current medical status, vital signs, and reviewing diagnostic results. You will play a key role in the planning and implementation of individualized care plans, collaborating closely with physicians to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver direct and indirect patient care through the application of the nursing process in assigned areas.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments upon admission, gathering past medical history, current medical status, vital signs, and reviewing lab work, X-rays, and other diagnostic tests.
- Develop and implement written care plans in collaboration with the medical team.
- Monitor patient conditions, interpret data, and respond appropriately to changes in patient status.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring patient safety and adherence to protocols.
- Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatment plans, and self-care techniques.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
- Strong experience in Medical-Surgical and Telemetry units.
Preferred Qualifications
- Three (3) years of previous nursing experience.

- Strong mathematical and analytical skills for medication calculations and data interpretation.
