Voca Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Chandler, Arizona.
Shift: 12H Nights 12 hour nights + EOW + must work 2 of 3 major holidays; first to float Description: Unit Notes:MUST HAVE 2 FULL YEARS OF EXPERIENCE TO BE CONSIDERED***Travelers will need to pass a dysrhythmia exam within 48 hours of receiving offer, through una, only (with 2 MAX attempts). **There will be a Pass/Fail exam on day 1 of orientation, with an emphasis on sterile field. Study materials will be provided with first day instructions, so please make sure travelers are up to date on proper sterile techniques.- Unit: CV Tele D2 & C4- # beds :32 bed- Certs: BLS, ACLS- Ratios: 1:3-4- Charge Nurse: Yes, no patient assignment. Also have a Clinical Supervisor in a management role.- Techs: PCTs - 1 per every 16 patients.- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend.- Scrub Color: Navy- Tele: Centralized tele. RNs must be able to interpret EKGs.- Vents: No- Hospitalist or Intensivist in house: Hospitalist rounds during the day and on call at night.- IV Team: No- RT 24/7: Yes - Pharmacy 24/7: Yes- Shifts: 12 hr shifts. 7-7.- Floating: To similar or lower acuity.- Floor specific orientation: 2 days on the floor.- Common diagnosis / Types of patients: Post cath lab, post vascular procedures, day 2 CABG patients, general tele. Amio, Cardene, Nitro, Heparin, Dobutamine to titrate down ONLY. No pediatrics, 15 y/o and older. Cancellation Policy:Hospital can cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment, 3 shifts for assignments that are less than 13 weeks Charting System:Cerner BSN Required:No License to Submit:Yes Trauma Level:1 Care Setting:Acute Division: Shift Notes:12 hour nights + EOW + must work 2 of 3 major holidays; first to float Required Certifications:ACLS, BLS Certification Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
