Job Summary:
Telemetry Nursing (RN) located in a busy, Level II trauma center. This position involves providing comprehensive patient care on a 38-bed telemetry unit, caring for diverse patient populations including cardiac, post-procedure, and critical care patients. The role requires interpreting cardiac rhythms, responding to clinical changes, and collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week, with shifts potentially including weekends, holidays, and call shifts.
• Required Qualifications: NV RN license required prior to start; certifications include BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), NIHSS (APEX); minimum 2 years of recent inpatient telemetry/PCU experience; experience in interpreting cardiac rhythms and managing related clinical conditions; prior travel experience of at least one 13-week assignment.
• Preferred Qualifications: Confidence in rhythm strip identification and measurement; experience caring for patients with diagnoses such as CHF, AKI, COPD, CVA, and ETOH withdrawal; familiarity with post-cath care, pacemakers, ablations, cath lab procedures, and post-ICU care.
• Additional Information: Travelers may be required to float to other units including ICU, medical-surgical, or other telemetry units to meet clinical needs. May be required to work major holidays and pick up additional shifts every four weeks. Renown has the right to call off shifts without penalty with 48 hours' notice for low census.
