- Required Qualifications: Nevada Registered Nurse (RN) license required prior to start; BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), NIHSS (APEX) certifications; minimum 2 years of telemetry experience; ability to pass a telemetry competency exam involving rhythm strip identification and measurement.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience working on busy, high-acuity units involving complex patient cases such as NSTEMI's, sepsis, post-procedure cardiac patients, and COVID-19 care.
- Additional Information: May be required to float to other units including intensive care, medical-surgical units, or different facilities within the organization based on staffing needs. The role involves working major holidays and picking up additional shifts during the schedule period, which varies based on department needs. The environment is fast-paced, level 2 trauma capable, and requires the ability to adapt quickly to high patient volumes and acuity levels.
