Travel Nurse RN - Telemetry - $2,439 per week in Salem, MA

Job Title: Float Pool RN Profession: RN Telemetry I Specialty: RN Telemetry I Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days/Eves/Nights Hours per Shift: 36 hours per week Experience: 2 years of acute care hospital experience in one location; 2 years working as a Traveler License: Active RN License Certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Must be willing to float to 8 different units Description: This position is for a Float Pool RN willing to float between different nursing units. The role involves providing care in various Med/Surg Tele areas. Responsibilities include cardiac monitoring, administering cardiac drips, and reading telemetry strips. Candidates should have experience interpreting telemetry strips every 4 hours. TR Band experience is required. The clinician-to-patient ratio is up to 5:1 during days and evenings, and up to 6:1 at night. The patient population includes ED border patients, acute mental health patients, and non-vented patients who are transfer-ready from the ICU. Units range from 8 to 41 beds. The schedule will rotate between days, evenings, and nights as needed. The charting system used is EPIC.
