**Job Description:**
- Are you an experienced Telemetry RN looking for your next adventure?
- Join our Telemetry Unit and care for cardiac and neuro patients in a fast-paced and supportive environment!
**Unit Information:**
- **Location:** 3rd Floor, Main Campus
- **Type of Unit:** Telemetry Unit
- **Patient Capacity:** 30 beds (with an additional 12 overflow beds)
- **Core Staff:** 50 dedicated RN's
- **Patient Ratios:** 4:1
**Typical Staffing:**
- **Night Shift:** 1 CNC/charge, 8 RN's, 2 CNA's (0-1 sitters)
**Essential Skills Required:**
- EKG Interpretation
- IV Start
- Chest Tube Management
**Preferred Skills:**
- Experience in receiving patients post heart cath, pacemaker, ablation, watchman, valve repair, and cardioversion.
**Personal Attributes:**
- Quick Learner
- Excellent Communication Skills
- Dependable
**Required Certifications:**
- ACLS
- BLS
- NIH
**Additional Information:**
- **Dress Code:**
- Scrub Color: Variable
- No visible piercings
- **Weekends:**
- 3-4 shifts per month
- **Floating Areas:**
- PCU and Med/Surg
