Candidate must have 3 or more years of telemetry experience. Must possess an active California RN license and required certifications. Flexibility with floating to other units as needed is expected. Patient ratios are 4:1 during days and nights. The daily census averages 20 patients. The unit cares for adult and geriatric populations. The environment supports interdisciplinary collaboration with various services. The role includes managing cardiac telemetry and post-operative care. Strong skills in dysrhythmia interpretation and IV management are required. The candidate must be comfortable in high-pressure situations and rapid response scenarios. Special procedures and equipment exposure may be part of the role. Candidates must comply with onboarding procedures, including background checks and work history verification. Travel nurses should anticipate a 1.5-hour notice for floating to different units or campuses.
