Travel Nurse RN - Telemetry - $2,527 per week in Berkeley, CA

Job Title: Telemetry Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: 3+ Years of RN Telemetry Experience License: Valid RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, CPI Must-Have: - Previous Charge Experience: 2 Years - Patient Ratio Experience - Charting System Experience with Epic Description: Telemetry RN needed for night shift. The position requires a minimum of 3 years of RN telemetry experience and 6 months of travel experience. The nurse will have a patient ratio of 4:1 on days, nights, and weekends. There may be a requirement to float to other units within the scope of practice, including a possibility of bicampus floating. Flexibility is expected, and travelers can anticipate a notice of 1.5 hours prior to shift start time in most cases. Shuttle service is provided for floating. Candidates must possess current BLS and ACLS certifications, as well as CPI and NIHSS certifications. Skills required include managing cardiac drips, telemetry monitoring, and care of patients with various medical conditions. Candidates should have experience in accessing/managing ports, blood product administration, and interpretation of dysrhythmias. Orientation hours are included in the contract. Max RTO is 7 days per contract and only one holiday can be requested per contract. Compliance documents must be submitted within the required timeframe.
