Job Title: Telemetry Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours (07:00 - 19:30) Experience: 3+ years of RN Tele experience, 6 months travel experience License: Valid RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, CPI Must-Have: - Previous charge experience - Experience with charting systems, preferably Epic - Flexibility to float to other units within the scope of practice Description: Telemetry Registered Nurse needed for day shift. The role involves providing care to patients on telemetry monitoring. Candidates must have a valid RN license and required certifications. Experience in managing cardiac rhythms and interpreting dysrhythmias is essential. The nurse will manage blood products, central lines, and other invasive procedures. Candidates must be open to floating to different units as necessary. Weekend shifts will be required every other weekend and as needed. The unit typically has a patient ratio of four patients per nurse. Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, and social services.
