Registered Nurse state licensure required.
Certifications:
Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) required.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required.
Must-Have:
Recent clinical experience and proficiency in telemetry and rhythm interpretation.
Ability to read and interpret telemetry rhythms efficiently, including recognition of common arrhythmias.
Initiating, titrating, monitoring, and documenting various IV drips in a clinical setting.
Description:
Accountable for the assessment, coordination, delivery, and evaluation of nursing care.
Includes direct patient care, patient/family education, and transitions of care in an acute patient setting.
Delivers holistic and individualized care to all patients in the assigned area.
Develops, implements, and coordinates a plan of care that incorporates various psychological and sociocultural factors.
Fosters and maintains collaborative relationships between patients, their families, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
Adheres to hospital policies, industry standards, best practices, and applicable laws and regulations.
Possesses written and verbal communication skills to explain sensitive information clearly and professionally.
Demonstrates general knowledge and competence regarding nursing theories, medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
Has a working knowledge of safety precaution policies and best practices regarding patient care and privacy.
Possesses time management and organizational skills.
Can work both independently and as part of a team.
Ensures the privacy of each patient’s protected health information.
Builds collaborative relationships with peers and healthcare providers to achieve departmental objectives.
Identifies and solves routine or complex problems using existing procedures and critical thinking.
