Travel Nurse RN - Telemetry - $2,640 per week in Paramus, NJ

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cardiac Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years of Telemetry experience License: New Jersey or Compact nursing license Certifications: ACLS, BLS required Must-Have: Experience with post cardiac catheterization groin management Ability to initiate and monitor Cardizem, Amiodarone, and Primacor drips Ability to read cardiac telemetry strips Description: Candidates must have experience in post cardiac catheterization groin management. Candidates must be able to initiate and monitor Cardizem, Amiodarone, and Primacor drips. Candidates should be proficient in reading cardiac telemetry strips. The unit requires both cardiac telemetry and step down experienced candidates. The patient ratios are 1:5-7 for cardiac telemetry patients and 1:4 for step down patients. Applicants must be comfortable managing patients post procedure. This position also involves floating between both cardiac telemetry and step down units. COVID-19 vaccination series and booster are required. Flu vaccination and booster are also required.
