Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Telemetry position in the Float Pool, requiring Epic experience and the ability to float between Med-Surg and Telemetry units.

Details

• Float Pool unit within an acute care hospital setting
• Must be able to float between Medical-Surgical and Telemetry units
• Night shift schedule, 7:00 PM-7:30 AM
• 36-48 hours per week
• Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• Current BLS certification from an approved vendor required
• Minimum of two years of experience in specialty, with recent experience within the last three months
• BSN and acute care facility experience preferred
• No prior adverse action or hit on license permitted

Additional Information

• Delivers coordinated nursing care for an assigned group of patients according to established standards and the nursing process
• Supervises and directs nursing staff while coordinating care across disciplines
• Collects and analyzes patient data to determine diagnoses and develop individualized care plans
• Implements care plans, evaluates patient outcomes, and adjusts interventions as needed
• Collaborates with patients, families, and the healthcare team to provide safe and compassionate care
• Provides patient and family education and participates in discharge planning for continuity of care
• Appropriately delegates tasks and coordinates duties among healthcare team members
• Located within a Magnet-designated hospital network
• Required vaccinations must be completed as a condition of employment, with medical and religious exemptions considered
