Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Telemetry position in a float pool, requiring Epic experience and the ability to float between Med-Surg and Telemetry units.

Details

• Float Pool assignment requiring flexibility across units
• Night shift schedule, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, 36-48 hours per week
• Must be able to float to Medical-Surgical and Telemetry units
• Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• Current BLS certification from an approved vendor required
• Minimum 2 years of experience in specialty required, with recent experience within the last 3 months
• BSN and acute care facility experience preferred
• No more than 5 days of requested time off (RTO) permitted
• No prior license disciplinary actions permitted

Additional Information

• Deliver coordinated nursing care for an assigned group of patients following established standards and the nursing process
• Supervise and direct activities of assigned nursing staff and coordinate care with other disciplines
• Collect and analyze patient assessment data to determine diagnoses and care needs
• Develop and implement care plans, coordinate care delivery, and promote a safe healing environment
• Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to deliver safe and compassionate care
• Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care
• Provide patient and family education as part of care delivery
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate as travel candidates
• Candidates may only be submitted to one hospital within the health system at a time
