Key Responsibilities of the Acute Med-Surg Telemetry RN

Conduct NG tube insertion and peripheral IV insertion
Interpret telemetry strips and take necessary actions
Provide post-operative care (ortho, urology, GI)
Handle telemetry monitoring and patient assessment
Collaborate with LNAs and other healthcare professionals

Requirements of the Acute Med-Surg Telemetry RN

Valid RN license
BLS, ACLS, and Telemetry certification
NIH Stroke Scale certification
Minimum 1 year of specialty experience in telemetry
Prior travel experience required
Recent EPIC system experience
