Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Local Travel Registered Nurse (RN) - Telemetry for an exciting opportunity in Wichita Falls, Texas. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring cardiac patients, providing direct patient care, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure exceptional patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms using telemetry equipment.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Recognize and respond promptly to changes in patient condition.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and discharge instructions.
• Ensure compliance with nursing standards, policies, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Current BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent Telemetry experience preferred.
• Strong cardiac monitoring and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment.
