Nurses will be responsible for monitoring patients' vital signs and telemetry readings. Candidates should be experienced in caring for stroke patients and those recovering from cardiac procedures. The nurse-to-patient ratio is typically between 1:4 to 1:6, depending on daily census. Nurses will be required to float between units as necessary. Experience with Epic charting is required. Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential. Weekends and holiday shifts are expected as part of the scheduling requirements.
