**Exciting Opportunity for Night Shift Telemetry RN!** **Job Description:** - Type of patients on the unit: - MI - CHF - Arrhythmias - PVD - Some med/surg overflow - Department capabilities: - Management of numerous cardiac drips - Nitrate management not included - Schedule: - Full-time, 36 or 48 hours per week guarantees available - Night shift (7 PM - 7 AM) - Every other weekend requirement - On-call requirement: - No call - Floating requirement: - Required to float when needed - Nurse/Patient Ratio: - 5:1, with occasional 6:1 - Dress Code: - Ceil Blue scrubs **Responsibilities:** - Provide nursing care utilizing the nursing process: - Assessment - Diagnosis - Planning - Intervention - Evaluation - Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families - Administer medications and treatments according to protocols - Monitor for side effects and treatment effectiveness - Document patient history, symptoms, and care provided - Assess learning needs; provide education to patients and their families **Qualifications:** - Education/Skills: - Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred - Experience: - 1 year of experience in related nursing specialty preferred - Required Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications: - BLS certification from AHA required - ACLS certification from AHA required - RN License in state of employment or compact - Position Requirements: - Attend New Nurses Orientation within the first 30 days of hire - Participate in residency program or specific orientation if newly licensed - Completion of all annual competency verification requirements **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
