Key Responsibilities of the Travel Telemetry Registered Nurse:
  • Provide high-quality nursing care to patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring
  • Interpret cardiac rhythms and promptly respond to arrhythmias or clinical changes
  • Administer medications, including cardiac and vasoactive infusions, as ordered
  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care
  • Accurately document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in EMR systems
  • Educate patients and families on cardiac conditions, medications, and discharge care
  • Maintain adherence to hospital policies, safety standards, and infection control protocols
Requirements of the Travel Telemetry Registered Nurse:
  • Active RN license (West Virginia or compact state)
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Minimum of 2 years of recent Telemetry experience in an acute care setting
  • Strong cardiac rhythm interpretation and patient assessment skills
