Key Responsibilities of the Travel Telemetry Registered Nurse:
  • Provide specialized nursing care for patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring
  • Interpret cardiac rhythms and identify significant changes or arrhythmias
  • Administer medications, including titrating drips per physician orders
  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams to optimize outcomes
  • Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient progress
  • Educate patients and families on disease management and recovery
  • Adhere to hospital safety, infection control, and quality standards
Requirements of the Travel Telemetry Registered Nurse:
  • Active RN license (West Virginia or compact state)
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Minimum of 2 years of recent Telemetry experience in an acute care setting
  • Strong cardiac rhythm interpretation and critical thinking skills
