Travel RN – Renal / Telemetry (Night Shift)

Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care on an 18-bed Renal Medicine unit, maintaining RN-to-patient ratios of 1:4 to 1:6
- Perform and manage peritoneal dialysis, including operation of cyclers and related equipment
- Collaborate with a night shift team consisting of a Charge RN, floor nurses, and HUC/CNA staff
- Utilize lift and mobilization equipment to ensure safe patient handling
- Document patient care accurately using the Cerner electronic medical record system
- Float to like units or serve as a sitter as operationally needed; rotate weekends and holidays
Required Qualifications- Active RN licensure appropriate for the state of practice
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience
- Peritoneal dialysis experience is required; candidates without this experience will not be considered
- Current BLS certification
- PCT certificate
Preferred Experience / Skills- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Certified peritoneal dialysis nurse credential
- Prior experience with Cerner EMR
