Travel RN – Trauma Telemetry (Night Shift)

Schedule / Job TypeContract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Night Shift (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care on a 36-bed Trauma Telemetry unit with a night shift RN ratio of 1:6/7
- Monitor patients using medical remote telemetry equipment and document care using Cerner EMR
- Prepare patients for procedures including Endoscopy, Interventional Radiology, and the Operating Room
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including charge nurses, CNAs, and HUC staff in a fast-paced trauma environment
- Adhere to unit dress code and scheduling requirements, including a minimum of 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
- Float to sister Med-Surge units as needed
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience
- Current BLS certification (required)
- Demonstrated medical telemetry skills
Preferred Experience / Skills- BSN degree
- Charge Nurse or leadership experience
- CMSRN certification
- Experience with Cerner EMR
