Provide direct patient care on a 36-bed Trauma Telemetry unit with a night shift RN ratio of 1:6/7
Monitor patients using medical remote telemetry equipment and document care using Cerner EMR
Prepare patients for procedures including Endoscopy, Interventional Radiology, and the Operating Room
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including charge nurses, CNAs, and HUC staff in a fast-paced trauma environment
Adhere to unit dress code and scheduling requirements, including a minimum of 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
Float to sister Med-Surge units as needed
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Minimum 2 years of RN experience
Current BLS certification (required)
Demonstrated medical telemetry skills
Preferred Experience / Skills
BSN degree
Charge Nurse or leadership experience
CMSRN certification
Experience with Cerner EMR
