Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Days | 3×12-hour shifts | Expected 36 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a telemetry setting, monitoring cardiac rhythms and responding to changes in patient condition
• Perform and interpret telemetry readings to guide clinical decision-making
• Manage patients requiring ventilator support, tracheostomies, and chest tubes
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with established care plans
• Accurately document patient assessments and care delivery using EPIC
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Registered Nurse experience, with at least 18 months in a telemetry or related acute care setting
• Active Georgia RN license or a Compact RN license
• AHA BLS certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• Proficiency with tele interpretation
• Travel nursing experience preferred

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience
• Experience with ventilator management, tracheostomy care, and chest tube management
• Familiarity with EPIC electronic health records
