Contract | Night Shift | 3x12-hour shifts | 36 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Telemetry unit during night shift hours
• Manage patients requiring ventilator support and monitor respiratory status
• Administer and monitor non-titratable vasoactive drips per unit protocol
• Administer medications including analgesics, sedatives, anxiolytics, and antipsychotics as ordered
• Perform postmortem care in accordance with facility policies and procedures
• Float to complex care unit as needed to support staffing requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required at time of start
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required at time of start
• Demonstrated experience with ventilator management
• Experience with non-titratable vasoactive drip administration and monitoring
• Familiarity with medications including Morphine, Dilaudid, Fentanyl, Versed, Ativan, Haldol, Robinul, and Scopolamine patch

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a Telemetry or step-down unit setting
• Comfort with floating to complex care units as needed
