Travel Registered Nurse – Telemetry

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Travel | Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | 13-Week Assignment
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care on a Telemetry unit serving a large cardiac population across Telemetry and Progressive Care Unit floors
- Maintain patient ratios of 1:5 on day shift, delivering safe and compassionate nursing care
- Utilize electronic medical records system (Meditech / CPN) to document and manage patient information
- Float to inpatient Medical/Telemetry and Rehabilitation units as needed
- Collaborate with RNs, CNAs, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure quality patient outcomes
- Perform varied procedures supporting both acute and chronic medical conditions across multiple unit types
Required Qualifications- Minimum of 1 year of current acute care Telemetry hospital experience (2 years preferred)
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- Willingness and ability to float to multiple inpatient units
Preferred Experience / Skills- Strong Telemetry background with demonstrated cardiac care competency
- Chemotherapy Certification (candidates with this credential may be scheduled on the Oncology unit)
- Experience working in a high-acuity, fast-paced hospital environment with varied patient populations
