Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 12-Hour Evening Shifts | Every Other Weekend | Expected 72 Hours Biweekly (on-call hours not included)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit
• Monitor and interpret telemetry data, responding appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Document all patient care activities accurately using EPIC
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Float to an additional affiliated hospital location as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts or compact eligibility
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required
• EPIC EMR proficiency required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience in a Medical/Surgical or Telemetry setting
• Must successfully pass an onsite competency assessment administered on day one of orientation (one attempt only); candidates will have up to 2 attempts on Relias testing during onboarding to prepare
• Must be in good standing and have been separated from the affiliated health system for a minimum of 6 months to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a telemetry or step-down unit environment
• Familiarity with float pool or multi-unit nursing assignments
• Strong critical thinking and adaptability in fast-paced acute care settings
