Travel Registered Nurse – Telemetry

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Onsite | Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | Projected Start: July 20, 2026

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care on a 18-bed Medical/Telemetry unit with a 5:1 RN-to-patient ratio
  • Monitor and interpret telemetry readings using Philips Monitors and document care using Meditech EMR
  • Perform and assist with procedures including tracheostomy care, ostomy care, and airway management
  • Care for patients presenting with conditions such as CHF, COPD, sepsis, DKA, cellulitis, and pneumonia
  • Operate unit equipment including Alaris pumps, dopplers, Welch-Allyn vital signs machines, mobilab, and glucometers
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including charge nurses and patient care technicians across day and night shifts
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital Telemetry experience
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
  • Current BLS certification
  • Current ACLS certification
Preferred Experience / Skills
  • NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
  • Prior experience with Meditech EMR
  • Experience precepting or coaching new nursing staff
