Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care on a Med/Surg Telemetry unit as part of a flexible resource pool
- Monitor and interpret telemetry readings and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
- Administer medications, treatments, and nursing interventions in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic medical record
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Iowa
- Current BLS certification
- Experience in a Med/Surg or Telemetry nursing setting
- Ability to read and interpret telemetry/cardiac monitoring
- Flexibility to work night shifts, every other weekend, and every other holiday
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior experience working in a float or resource pool capacity
- ACLS certification
- Familiarity with electronic medical record systems
