Schedule / Job TypeContract | Night Shift | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | Monday – Friday (Night shift not open Saturdays and Sundays) | Holiday availability may be required based on patient volumes
Key Responsibilities- Provide nursing care for post-procedural patients recovering from surgery, typically with 1–3 night stays
- Monitor and manage telemetry patients, interpreting cardiac rhythms and responding appropriately
- Care for cath lab patients as part of the unit's patient population
- Support ER overflow patient care as needed
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Experience in a Med/Surg Telemetry or similar acute care setting
- Proficiency in telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation
- Current BLS certification
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience caring for post-surgical or post-procedural patients
- Familiarity with cath lab patient care and recovery
- Experience with ER overflow patient management
