Key Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and implement direct clinical care to assigned patients on a per-shift basis
• Assume accountability for unit-level care quality and patient safety
• Supervise staff to whom appropriate patient care has been delegated
• Support nursing leadership in ensuring high-quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care
• Monitor and manage clinical staff competency and appropriate resource utilization related to patient care

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Michigan
• Telemetry nursing experience
• Demonstrated ability to assess and manage patient care needs in a telemetry setting
• Ability to delegate care appropriately and supervise clinical staff

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a progressive care or step-down unit environment
• Familiarity with cardiac monitoring and telemetry interpretation
• Experience supporting or collaborating with nursing leadership on quality and safety initiatives
