Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within a telemetry unit utilizing both primary and team nursing models
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and telemetry data throughout each shift
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to support patient assessment, planning, and treatment
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient status and nursing interventions

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of New York
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required prior to start
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required prior to start
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required prior to start
• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret basic cardiac rhythm strips prior to arriving at the facility

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience working in a telemetry or cardiac step-down unit
• Familiarity with both primary and team nursing care delivery models
