Contract | Night Shift | 36 or 48 hours per week | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
Deliver coordinated nursing care for an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process
Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff
Coordinate patient care with other disciplines using critical thinking and independent judgment
Utilize professional and supervisory discretion in all patient care decisions
Support and participate in an Epic EMR conversion and ongoing Epic charting environment
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
Recent Epic and Cerner experience within the last 5 years; proficiency in both systems required
Each work history entry must identify the charting system used; if multiple EMR systems are listed for one position, dates must be provided to clarify when each system was used
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor (BLS, HS-BLS, or RQI BLS accepted)
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
Candidates must have successfully completed at least one prior contract or held a staff employee position
Preferred Experience / Skills
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
Acute care facility experience
