Key Responsibilities
Deliver coordinated nursing care for an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process
Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff
Coordinate patient care with other disciplines and healthcare team members
Utilize critical thinking, professional discretion, and independent judgment in clinical decision-making
Perform telemetry monitoring and respond appropriately to cardiac rhythm changes
Document patient care accurately and thoroughly within Epic and Cerner EMR systems
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
Recent Epic and Cerner experience within the last 5 years, with proficiency in both systems
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
Each work history entry must indicate the charting system used; if multiple EMR systems were used at one employer, dates must be provided to clarify when each system was used
Preferred Experience / Skills
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
Acute care facility experience
Prior experience supporting or working through an Epic EMR conversion
